In today's constantly connected society, social media is an integral component to branding and marketing efforts. If approached wrong or completely ignored it can go terribly wrong. But if social media is viewed as a part of a holistic marketing and branding support strategy and executed correctly the benefits can be endless.
I have more than four years experience engaging with bloggers and social media mavens in St. Louis and beyond, in addition to experience with traditional marketing efforts. With the help of social media ToastedRav.com and the online women's magazine that I founded, Girls Guide to the Galaxy, have both become recognizable web-based brands in the metro-area. I have also been engaged to help with the marketing strategy for other online brands such the relaunch of Sassy Pink Peppers online community, a project in which I developed sales lead copy and recommended strategy for site advertising. I also have worked with Jordan Lawrence to help with the launch of their GRIP (Global Records and Information Platform) product, creating their sales brochures, trade booth copy, training copy, and website copy as well as helping to implement and manage all of the content for their company blog.
